The Bride and the Lover is a Filipino film starring Lovie Poe, Jennylyn Mercado and Paulo Avelino. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on May 1, 2013. The plot of the film revolves around three central characters. Phillip, a sought-after bachelor. Vivian, a rich young woman who is the sole heir to a profitable business empire. And Sheila, a lifestyle editor who is also Vivian’s friend. Vivian gets engaged to Phillip and are going to marry. However, on their wedding day, Vivial dramatically revealed the affair between Phillip and Sheila, causing a disastrous scandal. As a result of the incident at the supposed to be wedding day, Sheila and Vivian leave the country to try to cool off and forget the events of that day. Sheila retruns home earlier than Vivian and reconciles with Phillip. They rekindle their love for each other and plan to marry. About the time they are going to get married, Vivian returns to the country and learns about the upcoming marriage. She then hatches a plan to ruin it the way Sheila ruined her own wedding day. That said, the events are turned the other way around. And more disastrous events ensue.

The movie's first trailer released online by Viva Films early this week offers a glimpse of the misadventures of six friends who come from different backgrounds. The trailer also features cameo appearances of several local celebrities, including Vice Ganda, Solenn Heussaff, Tim Yap and Raymond Gutierrez, who are all seen portraying themselves. As Monica, Eigenmann portrays the rebellious daughter of a socialite who finds unlikely friendships in Sikyu (Boy2 Quizon), Darwin (Dominic Roco), Sab (Glaiza de Castro), Nacho (Cholo Barretto) and Dana (Carla Humphries). Despite their different status in life, the six find themselves bound by a common goal -- finding happiness. Directed by Martin Rey Aviles, "Coming Soon" is scheduled to be released by Viva Films on April 17. The film is produced by Fearless Productions, Inc. and Brownsugar Entertainment.

Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz also reprise their roles as Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro respectively. The films follows the life of Miggy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Laida (Sarah Geronimo) after their break-up which occured in the second film. Miggy, is now in a relationship with Belle (Isabelle Daza) while Laida is now a fiercer woman after living in the United States. They try to co-exist in the same company while Laida tries to oppose Miggy's business decision.

Police Major Alfredo Lim (Cesar Montano) has just been commended for being one of Manila’s ten most outstanding officers. But the celebration is cut short when one of his co-honorees is killed while trying to stop a robbery. Lim gets on the trail of this gang of criminals, carrying out a major surveillance operation. But his work takes a personal toll, his devotion to his duty causing friction in his marriage. And his righteousness ruffles the feathers of very powerful people, putting his family’s life in danger.

The story is told in flashbacks as Emilio Aguinaldo thanks the US government for giving him the opportunity to attend the full restoration of Philippine independence on July 4, 1946. The film begins with his capture by Philippine and US forces under Frederick Funston's command in 1901, then flashes back to 1886, when an old woman gives Aguinaldo and childhood friend Candido Tirona cryptic prophecies. Ten years later, Aguinaldo is inducted into the Katipunan and later assumes leadership of its Cavite chapter while becoming mayor of Cavite El Viejo. When trouble breaks out in Manila in late August 1896, Aguinaldo tries to assure the Spanish provincial government of non-interference and covertly marshals his forces despite a lack of weapons. Learning that the Spanish mostly put their forces in Manila, Aguinaldo finally mobilizes his troops and take the fight to Spanish troops in Cavite.

The story takes places on a family who got lost in a province and start being hunted by The Strangers especially the aswang. For their 18th birthday, twins Pat and Max (Julia Montes and Enrique Gil) go on their annual out of town family trip, to the far flung oasis of Murcia. Joining them are their parents Roy and Evelyn (Johnny Revilla and Cherry Pie Picache), their grandfather Pete (Jaime Fabregas), his temporary caregiver Paloma (Janice de Belen) and their newly hired family driver, Toning (Nico Antonio). The family members set aside personal differences and go on with the trip, as they look forward to the provincial excursion. Treading the rough roads of the countryside, their happiness is cut short when their van hits an old lady on the road. Unsure of what happened, the family tries to search for the body but it is nowhere to be found.
